Help on learning Acoustic Guitar?
Hi, I have always wanted to learn acoustic guitar. I have a dvd from fender, “guitar for beginners.” But in the video, the guy uses an electric guitar, not acoustic, can i still learn from the dvd. I think it is hard to learn cords and how to hold the string down because i have chubby fingers.
Any advice on how to learn guitar quickly, or places i can learn from. Im kinda scared to take guitar lessons alone, and i don’t know why.
heres the guitar ive been trying to play:

yeah ummmm, that isn’t a guitar, that’s a bass guitar. you don’t play chords on a bass guitar. a guitar has 6 strings not 4. so that’s why you are having trouble

As a musician, I can tell you finger size or length mean nothing. Also, the most rapid way to learn on any guitar is daily practice and dedication.
