If you want to learn classical and/or flamenco guitar, my suggestion to you is to take lessons. Classical and flamenco guitar is NOT the same as playing a rock tune consisting of 4 barre chords and a simple progression. The technique is very different and a lot more difficult. I took classical guitar during my second semester of college and let me tell you from experience that it takes a lot of patience, extreme amounts of practice, and a working knowledge of music. Tabs are usually few and far between, and inaccurate at best. However, if you do a few google searches, you will likely turn up something that will pique your interest. Even if a tune looks overwhelming, spend time on it until you learn it and you'll become a better player. in no time. Personally, I use "Bouree" by J.S. Bach as a warmup, even though I usually play rock stuff. I would highly suggest that tune. It's fairly tough, but it gives you a good knowledge of the fingerboard and playing two parts at once (a bass and melody, or a melody and a countermelody), which is the staple of most classical music. Basically, my advice to you is to keep an eye out for what YOU think you can play and what you feel you're ready for, but push yourself, or you'll never progress, other than learning one more song that doesn't really test your boundaries.
Good Luck!

yea the book got boring for me too, i just did my own thing and after learning songs from tabs i eventually went back to the book and found out i could do pretty much everything in there already so you eventually get it, even when it seems you dont. stairway to heaven is a good song to learn and it has fingerpicking in it as well so more practice for changing picking techniques. just learn any songs you like whether they seem easy or not and sometimes theyre easier than they seem. just take it slowly. new rock songs are easier to learn since they arent as complicated, like grunge songs. but it all depends on your music preference.
