Songs to play on acoustic guitar in club?
29th December 2008
Can everyone here give me some ideas for songs to play in club all alone on one acoustic guitar and sing. Need to be well known songs of course… rock, blues, ballads… whatever… ![]()
I'm great guitarist so it's not problem if it's hard, to give you some hints for songs I already play: Little Wing by J. Hendrix, It's Probably Me by Sting, Road Trippin by RHCP… now I need some fresh songs to learn but need some ideas… ![]()
Thanks

You could try "That's entertainment" by The jam? that's a pretty cool song!
"Roxanne" by The Police could sound quite cool on an acoustic guitar? I don't know if anyone's tried that one before???

You could try Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven even though it gets a bit heavy towards the end. But you can play that part with an acoustic too minus the falsetto voice. Sounds amazing. I have tried. Amazing solo too.
You could also try Alice In Chains' I stay away and Don't follow
